Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.

Love Brighton for long walks and shopping with plenty of places to eat & drink, like a lot of places post Covid it can be a bit scruffy and run down in places with empty shops but all the staff we came across were great, obviously gets a bit lively at times but the council have security patrols walking around during the day and evenings so feels safer than some places we've been.

It's just great to walk around. The Pavilion is a must.
It's just great to walk around. The Pavilion is a must. And if the weather's nice, visit Rottingdean! It's a lovely village on the edge of the city. Strangely the city tour bus doesn't go there. But the bus services are generally excellent and you can explore East Sussex and the coast. No buses to Arundel or Petworth to the west, Brighton is missing a trick there.

A bustling town with plenty of the usual UK High St stores and many buses that run along the coast to Littlehampton to the East and Eastbourne to the West. Hard to walk and sit on LARGE PEBBLE beach though!

Brighton is a mini London.
Brighton is a mini London. You can find all things there, but within walking distance. I felt safe, however on Friday night I smelled weed throughout the main street and pretty packed. Brighton is built on hills, so expect to use your legs, it reminded me of walking in San Francisco. Weather was pretty cold in April, raining, very windy, but overall, I liked It a lot!

The welcome and the exceptional friendliness of the staff was so very lovely! It really felt like they cared so much about making people's stay the best and most comfortable it could be. The hotel itself was perfect -It felt very safe, which as a solo female traveller is important to me, delicious choice of breakfast, including veggie/vegan options and dark and quiet at night, with a very comfortable bed. The location is great for exploring Brighton and so close to the beach. I would most definitely stay again. Thank you :)
The location is very central, walkable to most attractions especially the beach is within 1-min walk, and it’s a plus! Nice interior design and TV comes with Netflix, Disney+ account that we can enjoy for free!
Check-in is smooth and available anytime as it’s a self check-in flat, the host is very friendly and helpful, gave useful informations about where to look for best parking and restaurants.
The flat has everything we need and we will definitely want to stay here again next time we are in the city!
Malmaison Brighton is a boutique hotel in the Brighton Marina area. The staff were very pleasant on arrival and departure. Check-in and check-out were effortless.
The hotel interior decor is slightly avantgarde, though the room we had wasn't as quirky as expected from the website photos. We had a city-facing view and stayed only for one night. There was a small fridge and other nice amenities. Good water pressure from the shower, and the WiFi worked well. Nearby free parking was included.
Absolute stone's throw from the station which as I mainly use this hotel for work is extremely convenient. The rooms are very spacious often having a work area and sometimes a sofa area. For the very, very cheap prices this hotel is very much worth staying in if you just need somewhere nice to crash. Discount sauna experience next door is a nice touch and lot of good restaurants and bars nearby
Staff were so friendly and helpful.
We asked for a late checkout on the day we left, and they gave it free.
Lively area and best hotel for walking to the Brighton Centre as well as to gift shops on same road.
Brighton Pier is not far away either, and there are many places to eat nearby if you don't wish to eat dinner in the bar/bistro part of Queens hotel.
Overall, thank you for a great stay.
My friends and I spent practically our whole stay trying to figure out how this place was so cheap. The location is fantastic, there was reliable WiFi and TV, we had a garden, the hot water and such worked fine, the staff on the phone were friendly and helpful. This might be the best value for money in Brighton. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk in to town massively appreciated.
This is how a hotel should be run! Faultless. Super friendly owners, lovely personal touches in the room, absolutely spotless, with crisp white linen on a plush comfy bed, you can see Red Brighton Blue genuinely cares. Along with a great location just a hop skip and jump to the beach, this has to be the best place i have stayed this year (ive spent most of 2022 in hotels). Keep it up 😀
The rooms were nice and tidy with lovely layout and decors. Location was prime as it's right next to the famous Lanes and various restaurants and shops nearby, plus just a minute walk from the beach. Staff were very friendly and took us to our room with a detailed explanation of the facilities and service the hotel offers.
The snooze rooms we're cleaned spotless daily.
Paul and his staff were excellent hosts.
The rooms were fresh and the decor was brilliant.
They even helped with cheap parking tickets.
One of the best hotels me and my wife have stayed in in Brighton in 40 years. 10 out of 10
The location was great. Close to the beach and other attractions including dining. The complementary breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day before heading out exploring. Staff was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the best places in the area.
It's very quaint, the staff is friendly and the rooms clean. Perfect spot to have a pint after a long day. Up the hill from the hotel are food options and a laundromat, as well as small markets for minor purchases. You are a short walk to the beach which is great.
Best location in Brighton on seafront and close to the Lanes. Large outdoor seating area with bar and food facilities. Hotel and rooms clean and comfy and rooms a good size with all you need. Have stayed here year on year. Staff very helpful and friendly.
We had the bath with a view room which had a balcony, possibly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Waking up to the view of brighton beach and pier was amazing. I loved the bath that much I couldn’t get out for hours it was just so relaxing.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I also enjoyed the breakfast it was varied and available from early in the morning. The hotel was close to the centre of Brighton and very near to the train station.
We booked a partial sea view room and in the end received a gorgeous full sea view room with a small seating area. The location of the hotel was perfect with a lovely view of the beach and pier. Our requests were dealt with efficiently.
perfect location, perfect staff with gst recognition amd interaction at front desk, concierge and housekeeping!
Rooms are specious, sparkling clean and the hotel itself facing directly to the beachside and next to the i360.
Hotel is in sight of the beach and Brighton pier. Room was fine for single person. Area has plenty of dining options.
A little noisy at night but this was the jubilee weekend so have to give some slack.
spa is amazing - certainly the best at any hotel in Brighton. while not cheap it is very good in comparison to what the same money gets you at other hotels
